About the YMC Golm

The youth meeting centre (YMC) Golm of the German War Graves Commission ( Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge e.V.) offers the possibility to hold seminars and experience a week full of activities. Our visitors are mainly from German and Polish schools. Our program suit young people of all ages and different standards as well as groups of adults.
The war gravesite Golm and the close German-Polish border are two impressive, immediate consequences of world war two. They make the village of Kamminke a convenient place for a weeklong school project.

German-Polish projects of partner schools fit especially well to the conditions the YMC offers. Our Team helps you with getting in touch with possible partner schools.

Not only schools are welcome at the YMC but also youth groups of churches or other international and intercultural projects. Staying at the YMC Golm offers the golden opportunity to reinforce and develop the ties between countries by personal experience and to learn more about our integrating Europe.

With its international youth work the German War Graves Commission strengthens and cultivates the democratic reminiscent culture in Europe
