There are four more Youth Meeting Centres of the Volksbund. In Ysselsteyn (the Netherlands), Lommel (Belgium) and Niederbronn-les-Bains (France, Elsaß) youth groups and school grades meet regularly. Here they approach European history by taking care of graves and get to know the country and its inhabitants. On the Futa-Pass (one hour from Florenz by car) there is another Meeting Centre made for young people.
All five Meeting Centres are situated on ground of German war cemeteries. This gives ideal possibilities for peace pedagogical approaches concerning the historical-political education.
